TIRED OF PARTY DOMINATION BY THE RICH POWER-ELITE AND PROFESSIONAL POLITICIANS?
[10/5/97] Both of our main political parties are operated and staffed by clones of the rich and powerful. They are there because they either already belong to the power-elite and want to maintain their priveleged positions (and maintain your slavery)-- or they want to get on the gravy train and serve the power-elite (and maintain your slavery).
There are moves afoot to reform campaign financing and electoral laws in such a way as to allow the non-millionaire from smaller groups to get a shot at the ballot on something like a level playing field.
Remember all the fuss about Ross Perot in the last election? Whether you think Perot is a crackpot or not, the fact is that his party garnered enough voter support to make available to him millions of dollars (like he really needed it) in taxpayer-provided campaign funding-- yet the two major parties still managed to exclude him from the debate process, effectively obliterating him as a serious candidate.
This is an exercise of raw power and is an abuse of the democratic process. It clearly shows where the two main political parties stand on the issue of democracy-- they are against it.
Take a look at these two links-- efforts to remedy this situation:
